I've Finally Returned

Well, it's been a long while, but I've finally returned. The main reason being to keep track of my completed books and games. So nobel, I know.

I'm currently reading Night Watch by Terry Pratchett and am enjoying it immensely. I've also obtained a lot of old SEGA Master System and SEGA Genesis games which I have been playing. The first ones that I completed were the games I played when I was growing up. Namely, Asterix (which I played at my baby sitters house), Alex the Kidd (which I was fortunate enough to own), and now I'm playing Wonder Boy (I can't remember where I played that one, but I know I did somewhere).

Now to recap on my life to date, not all of it of course (I'm not that entertaining and couldn't keep your attention for that long), but this past year has held some good points. Firstly, I got myself a job near where I live. It's nothing special, but the people I work with are great, so that makes up for the boredom I face scanning items at the checkout. Yes. You guessed it. I've resorted to being a check-out chick to help pay my bills while I'm at univeristy. Well, I get to choose the hours I want there, and it is all very flexible.

There's only one more month to go until university starts back. These holidays, apart from working, I haven't really been doing much. Just reading a lot and occassionally going to my home town. Oo, and a lot of my friends are celebrating their 21st birthdays. I attended one about a week ago in Melbourne which was awesome. It's so great to catch up with my friends. I've got another party on this weekend in my home town, so I'll drive there Friday night, get my hair cut on Saturday morning, and go out on Saturday night. And then I've got another party on the 17th of February. All of my little friends are growing up. I'm so proud of them :D.

I'm heading to Queensland soon to go see my dad and sister. I haven't been up there for over a year. This might not seem like long, but considering I haven't seen my dad for that long, it's a fair while. Hopefully I can obtain a tan whilst I'm up there, but then I'll have to find a means of transport to get to the beach. My sister will be at TAFE and work a lot of the time I'm up there and my dad will be working, so I might just have to public transport it. Of course, there is another option, that is, I drive my sister's car. But that is rather old and a manual. I own an automatic car and can't drive manual. So it's probably best not to take it out and crash it for her. She might not like that.

Pratchett time.
