Old Lady v A Bus

I just heard my lecturer tell a hilarious case though he didn't give the name of it.

Some old lady v London Omnibus General Company is a case from around 1900 involving an impatient bus driver and an unsuspecting old lady.

To encourage elderly people to board the bus quickly, the bus driver would start the bus suddenly, making elderly people run to the back of the bus. He would then put on the brakes and the elderly person would run back to the front of the bus. And then accelerate again etc etc. In one instance the back door was left open and the elderly lady flew out the door. She successfully sued for her injuries.
